This week's drawing prompt is VERY special (and a little more challenging 😆).

We've been diligently practicing for it at the Kawaii Drawing Club® for 3 weeks!

Our practice culminated in a 2-hour epic LIVE Masterclass, where I taught how to design your own kawaii cart, and how to draw it step-by-step.

There were sooo many fun and creative "kawaii carts" shared at KDC! This might the funnest project we've done so far. 🥰

This video is sooo inspiring! Like... seriously, it made me cry.

It's by a mural + graffiti YouTuber called "Ten Hundred".

He is expecting his second daughter, so in this video he shows the process of painting her nursery.

The "Wall Preppers" part is hilarious!! 😂

A: affirmation

We just started to homeschool our children 😅, and it's... an adjustment.

The pace and the structure of the day are totally different to the pre-determined school hours. And... I am still finding my way with it.

To be honest, the biggest challenge is having those consistent work hours I used to have, while children were at school.

But I am now realizing is that I still CAN have some predictability and structure to my days, when I ask for help.

I CAN have help with schooling and child care. It's about being open and asking "how can I do this" (instead of "I can't do this").

I can do this! 💪

So here is this week's affirmation:

It's ok to ask for help. 😊

Just like Ten Hundred from the video above, I've been wanting to paint some large-scale pieces for my children's rooms for years!!!!

It's not happening. 😂

So this week, I was lying half-awake in bed, when I realized with a start that my attachment to the idea that EVERY piece of art in our house has to be painted by me (or at least one of our friends) is holding back the desired result – beautiful art in my children's rooms.

Huge insight!!! 🤯

I am totally willing to set down my ego and simply find some art online that children would enjoy. I can even buy prints from Etsy and support other independent artists!

I need to DO the thing, while it matters. Decorate children's rooms before they grow up, lol.

So here is the question to wonder about this week:

I wonder... what is the fastest way to the desired outcome (even if I am not the one doing all of it)?
